about Knutsford

Knutsford is an attractive, market town with narrow streets and many interesting, historic buildings. The town centre has day to day shopping facilities together with boutiques, antique shops, art galleries and many other individual shops.  There are several restaurants, pubs and coffee shops offering a great choice of dining opportunities.  Knutsford has a broad range of schools for all ages and numerous sporting clubs with a variety of recreational activities.

Knutsford is located within excellent access to the motorway network, M6 (junction 19) and the M56 (junction 7), has a railway station serving Manchester to Chester and Manchester Airport is only a short distance away.
There are many events in and around the town each year including the annual Knutsford Royal May Day Procession which dates back to 1864, where hundreds of people parade through the streets and the May Queen is crowned.  Other local attractions include Tatton Park with its magnificent hall and landscaped gardens which holds the RHS Flower Show and many other events.  The Cheshire County Show is also held locally in Tabley, near Knutsford.
